On October 3rd at the Gothic Theater the guys at KinkyEx, Comeback Productions, and Never Sleep Entertainment bring you a sweet show packed full of some great music to support the hungry and encourage voter registration. Come down to the Gothic Theater (3263 S. Broadway, Englewood, CO) to donate some cans of food, register to vote, and listen to some good tunes.

If you can't make it you can always check out these websites to become active in supporting their cause:

Autum Fest: Photo's

To any one who was taking pictures at Autumn Fest,

Thanks for coming out and chilling with us. I had a fantastic time checking out some rad local music, local fashion, Looping Loops, and partying at the Union. It was really great getting to meet new faces and seeing a lot of friends. There was a whole lot going on, way too much for xrocksthespot™ to capture all of it, and unfortunately my camera broke midway through the day. If you were taking photo's of the events we would love to post your them on our site. I'll credit anyone who wishes to be credited so that people know what a bad ass photographer you are.

So, if you have any photo's please send them to xrocksthespot@gmail.com

Thanks for your participation,
xrocksthespot™

If you believe in the following message come:
Urge our elected officials to invest in creating millions of green jobs and a Clean Energy Corps. We can't drill and burn our way out of the current crisis. We can invest and invent our way out. We can create new pathways out of poverty and curb global warming at the same time. We will do this by retooling our factories, rebuilding our communities, and repowering America with 100% clean and renewable electricity. It's time to build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty.

There are events going on all over Denver (Highlands, 5 points, Cheesman Park), see the whole list here:

So what are we supporting exactly?

Ray Young Chu

I met The Yummies ninja, Ray Young Chu, at Indy Ink's Plastisol free for all 2 a couple of weeks ago. I've admired Ray's work for some time now. He handed me this neat design trading card (shown upon entry of his site.) The concept is hilarious and well executed like much of his work is. If you haven't seen any of Ray's work or would like to see some more go check out his site. You won't be disappointed.

Adam Sikorski

I met Adam Sikorski last night when I was handing out some flyers for Autumn Fest. He seemed really stoked that we were putting this on, and so close to home. Adam runs his studio out of the BLOCK BUILDING on the corner of 30th and Larimer, sharing space with the Andenken Gallery and FM-Magazine (amongst others). I love this building, they share one of the most creative spots in town. Anyway, Adam designs and prints all kinds of dank clothing. You can find some of his hand crafted goodness at some of our favorite shops: The Fabric Lab, Buffalo Exchange, Fancy Tiger, and the Kansas City Kitty. Check it out, and stop by one of these shops (maybe even the block building) to buy some of Adams clothing.
