18th Annual Colorado Alliance of Illustrators Members Show

AIGA Colorado, Art Director's Club of Denver and the New Denver Ad Club have all partnered together this year to sponsor, promote and recognize Colorado illustrators. Please join us in supporting our local talent May 2 for an exhibit of CAI's members work in two galleries. Beverages and snacks will be served to help those critiques and networking get going. AIGA 2008 Get Out The Vote

The AIGA 2008 Get Out The Vote campaign builds on the efforts made in 2000 and 2004, which placed more than 50,000 AIGA posters in public places in communities across the nation. Past campaigns provided public access to online PDF versions that anyone could print and post independently.


The template for the AIGA 2008 Get Out The Vote poster campaign is currently available online at: http://www.aiga.org/content.cfm/get-out-the-vote. Please submit your poster design by May 1, 2008 to be considered for one of the posters that will be printed and distributed.

GoMedia, one of my favorite design firms, has added a bunch of new work to their portfolio. If you haven't heard of these guys yet you most likely are def and don't have access to the interweb... which in that case you probably wouldn't be here. GoMedia also has an amazing blog and many other goodies (Arsenal). Go check out their site, and bring a napkin because you're sure to drool.

Jared Bradley has a great eye for photography. He specalizes in Action Sports, Travel, and Leisure; but he truly can shoot anything. Last night the band Oceana (Rise Records) played at Livespot. They are an amazing hardcore band, that truly keeps the crowd's energy alive. My friend Dave and I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot of the band earlier in the day. Keep an eye on Dave's site for their fresh new photo's.
