Tonight @ Beauty Bar Denver

Denver's snazziest new bar is hosting the Official Semi Precious Weapons After-Party!
Semi Precious Weapons will head down to the Beauty Bar after opening for Lady Gaga's The Monster Ball at Pepsi Center to play a special DJ set for their fans. Expect them to throw down a set that reflects their brand of Filthy Glamour and let's keep the party going until they kick us out!
Lady Gaga herself was a go-go dancer at Beauty Bar back in 2007 before she catapulted to fame with her glam-shock-dance music, so keep your eye out to see if she'll be giving us a shake for old time's sake!
Opening will be Denver's own boyhollow, co-founder and resident DJ of Lipgloss, Denver's longest running indie/electro/rock party.
This night promises to be a non-stop glam-jam. Don't miss it!
As always, no cover & cheap drinks for everyone.

Full Tang presents an accessible sound as well as unrivaled dance music!
The energetic quartet of multi-instrumentalists delivers a lasting memory at every show. Drawing a large influence from electric African music, Full Tang originally formed to explore and cover the Chimurenga music of Zimbabwe, Franconian Salsa of the Congo, and Highlife of Ghana and Nigeria. After studying hours from obtainable ...recordings, Full Tang fused a style that pays homage to an eclectic Africa, as well as their own musical upbringing of rock, blues, jazz, reggae and soul.
While in Colorado the Boston based band will promote their new EP of original compositions during July 2010

A Local Food Potluck event celebrates growing local food, local community and local economy on Wednesday, July 7, at 6:00 p.m., at The GrowHaus at 4751 York Street in Denver. Special guests are Robert DuBois of Washington, DC, and Aaron Zueck of Brooklyn, NY, who are cycling across the country, attending potlucks and sharing stories about the local food movement. Their journey began in the spring in New Brunswick, Canada, stops in Denver on July 7, and will wrap-up in California at summer's end.
"For a long time I thought the food I was eating was making me sick,” says DuBois "and in the process of trying to figure out why, I discovered how our industrialized food system works and over time realized that good food is the greatest healer of all."
